About Nigerian Cancer Society

Nigerian Cancer Society was established on 12 October, 1968 as a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization to address the ever increasing burden of cancer in the country. It is the leading national charity in the fight against cancer in Nigeria. Nigerian Cancer Society works in partnership with cancer control partners to achieve our shared goal of a future in which fewer Nigerians get cancer, fewer die from it and those living with the disease have a better quality of life. Its mission is to be the preferred non-profit organization that enables research, educates the public and provides support to all people affected by cancer.
